| New License Plate |
- Documents to prove your identity:
(1) Individual: original copy of the Citizens?Identification Card or a valid driver license
(2) Corporate: copy of the Certificate of Business Registration
(3) Organization/groups: certificate of establishment and the tax registration code issued by the taxation authority.
- Seal
- Two copies of the new license plate registration certificate for automobiles (motorcycles) that passed the inspection
- New:
(1)Manufacturer certificate and tax clearance certificate (locally manufactured vehicles) or clearance certificates for custom duties and goods tax (tax exemption certificate), the manufacturer certificate (imported vehicles).
(2)GUI (mark the vin number and car number for locally manufactured vehicles, mark the vin number for imported vehicles)
Re-issue:

(2)Owner copy of the new automobile (motorcycle) registration letter
(3)Enclose the transfer letter signed (or sealed) by both the buyer and seller and the I.D. card of the previous owner for second-hand vehicles

- For un-transferred vehicles, advertise the vehicle registration number, name of the buyer, name of the existing owner, the transferring dealer and the 7-day grace period for completing the ownership transfer process on the newspaper for one day. Application may only be accepted after the 8th day.
- Any pledge on the vehicle must be cancelled before the application may be accepted.
- For applicants who have lost both the license plate registration certificate and the driving permit are only permitted to apply at your local office.
- Cancellation due to non-transfer of ownership may only be done at your local office.
- Cancellation of registration by law may only be done at your local office and may re-apply for a new license plate six months after the cancellation date.

Things to Note:
1.
Public-use vehicles, pawned vehicles, large private-use vehicle,
private-use delivery van, vehicles handed over by the court or other
vehicles subject to special restrictions shall be registered in
accordance with the relevant regulations.
2. In the event of liquidation, companies/organizations shall
enclose the documents to certify the liquidation or closure of business
accompanied by documents to prove the identity of the company
representative or the liquidator or the receiver to lodge the alteration
of registration.
3. Applicants must pay any outstanding taxes and fines prior to
lodging your application. Where the application is lodged 3 months
within the tax levy date also enclose the payment receipt.
4. Applications lodged outside of your local office shall be
processed in accordance with the “Guidelines for Computerized Operations
for Cross-Regional National Highway Motor Vehicle Administration?
5. New regulations shall take precedence over existing regulations.
