3.1 |
Wheel touching pipes during reversing will not be deducted
points and one repetition is allowed. If the pipe is touched
when moving forward 32 points will be deducted. Provided the
accumulated deducted points are less than 30 in reversing, the
examinee may try again once only. The second try will start from
the starting point again. |

A serial deduction applies if the engine stalls.

confirming no trains are coming from either side. |

| After the test is over, those who have passed shall receive
their licenses at Window 3 in A Building after the invigilator
submits the passing document to the license-issuing window for
review. Those who have failed must reapply for another driving
test at Window 1 in A Building at least seven days after their
previous test. |
| Other matters requiring particular attention: |
| 1. |
Those who fail the test may only reapply at least seven days
after the previous test.
|
| 2. |
Those who cheat during the test will be disqualified. Under
Article 7-2 of Road Law, the
examinee will be suspended from taking a further driving test
for five years.
|
| 3. |
The examinee shall be legally responsible when damaging the
road, vehicles or injuring
people and must pay compensation where necessary. |
| 4. |
The examinee who already has a license who intends to
re-apply and use the license will be ined between NT$6,000 and NT$12,000 under Subparagraph 5,
Paragraph 1, Article 21 of
the Road Traffic Punishment Act.

| 5. |
Those under age of 18 may not apply for the test. Those who
pass the test and subsequently
are found to have cheated will be disqualified and the fee paid
will not be returned.
|
| 6. |
Those who apply for the test shall take it at the
designated test time and will be deemed as
waiving their right to take it if they are late. A reapplication
and fee are required. |
| 7. |
Those who fail the test for a regular heavy motorcycle driving
license may take the test for a
light motorcycle driver license on the same day.
|
Transferring into Taiwan's driver license

A foreigners holding a valid international driving license
issued by our
reciprocating countries can drive in Taiwan for thirty days
without applying for a
international driving permit.

The maximum period of validity for a driving permit of
international driving license
is one year.

3.3 |
The expiry date of the driving permit depends on the expiry
date of the original
international driving license and A.R.C ,whichever expires
first. |
